2001 - Digital Society
The sessional instructor will teach the online undergraduate elective course Digital Society (INFO 2001) in the
2026 Winter term.
The instructor will report to the Director of the Department. Duties include but are not limited to: Responsibility for all aspects of teaching and administering the course, including lectures, active learning class sessions, assignment preparation and evaluation; availability for two hours per week for consultation with students. Course syllabi are available upon request.
Qualifications/Requirements of Position
Requirements of the Position: PhD in Information Science, Anthropology, or Sociology or be in the final stages of a Ph.D. program. Previous experience teaching large undergraduate class, asynchronous is required. Previous experience supervising a team of teaching assistants required. Previous experience teaching INFO2000 - Digital Citizenship or INFO2001 Digital Society is required.

Salary Range/Pay Rate
$6478 (In accordance with CUPE Collective Agreement)
