Job Summary & Key Responsibilities

The sessional lecturer will co-teach a one-half credit course, HESA 6361, Business Law in the Healthcare Context, in the graduate-level Healthcare Law Certificate for Non-lawyers during the winter term (January-April 2024). This is a fully online course, delivered using Microsoft Teams and Brightspace, including one evening three-hour synchronous lecture per week. For the course description, please refer to the Dalhousie Academic Calendar. Job responsibilities: all aspects of teaching and administering the course, including developing course content for lectures/tutorials, delivering course content, setting and evaluating assignments/exams , being available outside scheduled class time to field student queries. The Sessional Lecturer is the Professor of Record for this course. The position reports to the Director of the School.
Qualifications/Requirements of Position

Juris Doctor (JD) and knowledge of business law are required. Relevant teaching experience is a strong asset. Experience with Microsoft Teams, Brightspace and online learning methodologies are strong assets.
Salary Range/Pay Rate Per CUPE Collective Agreement
