We have an immediate employment opportunity for a Parts / Purchasing Manager at our Scotsburn Sawmill.

Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be part of the Maintenance Team and responsible for the logistics, planning and coordination of parts and supply chain management.

This is a day shift (Monday-Friday) salaried position and includes company benefits. Some evening and weekend hours may be required from time to time.

Duties, included but not limited to:

A strong mechanical aptitude and interest in machinery Excellent time management and organizational skills The ability to track costs and budgets Strong ability to negotiate pricing with suppliers Expedite and resolve supply chain issues when delivery does not meet expectations Maintain and build strong relationships with suppliers Develop and implement strategies to reduce overall purchasing costs
Qualifications:

A Post Secondary Degree or Diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field preferred. Minimum of a Grade 12 Diploma required. Past experience in parts management, purchasing and/or equipment sales Working knowledge of MS Office Experience in PM Expert would be an asset
