Job Description

The Gear Centre, Truck and Automotive Division focusing on diagnosing, removal, and installing of automatic/manual transmissions, differentials, axle components, and hydraulic wet kit systems found in various automotive and heavy truck applications. We are currently recruiting for a Partsperson/Inside Sales Representative for our Grande Prairie branch.

Position Overview

The Partsperson/Inside Sales Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by supplying parts to customers. This will require determining the customer's needs through parts identification and effective communication. You will use catalogs both electronic and paper, and be able to effectively use our ERP system for creating quotes and repair estimates, and the invoicing of parts and service.

Primary Responsibilities

Greet customers in a prompt, courteous and professional manner Troubleshooting and problem solving to determine customer needs Receive parts orders from customers in person at sales counter, back counter and over the phone Sourcing and ordering parts from internal and external sources Picking and packaging of parts orders for shipping to customers Receiving of incoming parts stock orders and accurately warehousing within the warehouse Maintain a clean, safe and professional work environment Follow all ISO 9001:2015 procedures

Qualifications

3 to 5 years of previous experience in heavy duty and/or automotive counter sales experience required Strong customer service focus with an ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills Excellent verbal & written communication skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment High level of integrity and a strong work ethic Valid Driver's License with an acceptable Driver's Abstract
