We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Parts Technician to join our team. This role is essential in managing inventory, sourcing parts, and supporting our service branch. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, mechanical knowledge, and experience natural gas engine and compressor parts. The Parts Technician will ensure the timely procurement and distribution of parts to meet operational demands while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
Duties
Perform all duties while using our Vision and Mission Statements and Core Values.
Assist with inventory preparation and reporting on quarterly inventories.
Generate and update quotes on parts at current parts pricing
Take front and back counter parts orders, bill sales and service orders.
Pick orders and maintain inventory levels.
Ship and receive orders where required.
Achieve revenue and margin targets.
Source parts from vendors and branches, process purchase orders.
Participate in the on call rotation
Other Duties as required.
Qualifications:
Journeyman Parts Certificate or equivalent
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Work as a team player with all staff and all other branch locations.
Well organized and efficient.
Detail Oriented for accurate paperwork.
Able to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong computer skills.
Able to meet deadlines and be prepared to work extended hours when required.
Minimum 3 years industry experience.
Preference will be given to applicants who have experience with Waukesha and Caterpillar engines and Recip. compressors.
