Overview

We are seeking an experienced Parts Manager to oversee the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of parts within our company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain operations, sourcing, and customer service, with the ability to manage vendor relationships and ensure the timely availability of parts. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent organizational skills and mechanical knowledge to support our operational needs and enhance overall efficiency.

Duties

Manage and oversee the entire parts inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels through demand planning and procurement strategies Coordinate sourcing and negotiation with suppliers to secure quality parts at competitive prices Collaborate with service technicians, manufacturing teams, and customers to fulfill parts requests promptly Conduct purchasing activities, including order placement, tracking deliveries, and managing vendor relationships Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and perform regular audits to prevent discrepancies Implement best practices in supply chain management to improve efficiency and reduce costs Support demand planning efforts by analyzing usage trends and forecasting future needs Ensure compliance with safety standards related to inventory handling and warehouse operations

Requirements

Proven experience in dealership parts management or a similar role within manufacturing or supply chain environments Strong knowledge of ERP systems, CMMS software, and data entry procedures Experience with procurement, sourcing, negotiation, and demand planning processes Familiarity with forklift operation and warehouse safety protocols Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Prior experience in dealership settings or familiarity with automotive parts is preferred but not mandatory

Pay: $42,538.89-$96,516.11 per year
