Commercial Truck Equipment is looking to add a Full-Time Permanent
Parts Person
to our Calgary, AB Parts and Procurement team.
The Parts Person will play a vital role in supporting the Parts Team, Production and Operations. Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful candidate will be a well-organized problem solver with a minimum 1-2 years of experience in parts and/or parts purchasing/procurement roles.

Responsibilities and Duties
Provide support to the Production Team, and other members of the Parts Team and Shipping/Receiving.
Maintain the parts room and inventory stock levels, including production parts, shop supplies and consumables.
Obtain price quotes and negotiate pricing with suppliers.
Manage all aspects of the purchase, from requisition to delivery; follow-up with suppliers on any/all issues in a timely manner.
Qualifications and Experience
Commercial is looking for someone who has the experience to make a smooth transition into this position and hit the ground running. We will consider candidates from all backgrounds and industries, providing familiarization and training for the right candidate.
Minimum 1-2 years' purchasing/procurement experience
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Valid Forklift ticket an asset
