Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Parts Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in parts management and customer service, with experience in dealership operations. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient procurement and distribution of parts, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Responsibilities

Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate records of parts and supplies. Process orders for parts and materials Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and sourcing required parts. Coordinate purchasing activities, including negotiation with suppliers to secure favorable terms. Conduct data entry tasks related to inventory management and procurement processes. Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials. Utilize mechanical knowledge to assist in identifying the correct parts for various applications Operate forklifts safely for the movement of parts within the warehouse or dealership environment. Participate in demand planning activities to forecast inventory needs based on sales trends.

Qualifications

Previous dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory. Strong data entry skills with attention to detail. Knowledge of purchasing processes and supply chain management. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships. Proficient in sourcing and negotiation techniques with vendors. Mechanical knowledge related to automotive or manufacturing industries is a plus. Experience in demand planning is beneficial but not required.

Pay: $17.87-$44.32 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
