Position Overview



We are seeking a highly organized and experienced professional to lead our materials and inventory operations. This role is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of materials management, including procurement coordination, inventory control, warehouse operations, and parts management. The successful candidate will ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement across all materials-related functions.

Key Responsibilities



Oversee materials management processes: procurement, receiving, storage, distribution, staging, and inventory control. Maintain optimal inventory levels for compressor parts and components to support service and manufacturing operations. Ensure accurate, efficient, and safe warehouse operations in compliance with OH&S and quality standards. Lead and develop the warehouse, inventory, inside sales, and materials team. Support technical parts identification and customer inquiries for overhaul and manufacturing requirements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in materials, warehousing, and logistics processes. Manage ERP/MRP data accuracy and forecasting for material needs. Oversee shipping, receiving, packaging, and compliance with transportation standards. Build strong relationships with internal teams, vendors, and customers. Implement best practices and system improvements for inventory and warehouse management. Promote safety, quality, and compliance through audits and training.

Qualifications



Proven experience in materials management, inventory control, and warehouse operations. Strong leadership and team development skills. Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and inventory forecasting. Familiarity with OH&S standards and quality compliance. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive process improvements.
