Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Parts Manager to oversee the parts department within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, sourcing parts, and ensuring that our supply chain operates efficiently. This role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to negotiate with suppliers while maintaining accurate data entry and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

Manage the parts inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet customer demand. Oversee the sourcing of parts from various suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conditions. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for tracking inventory and managing orders. Collaborate with dealership teams to ensure timely delivery of parts for service operations. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with inquiries and order fulfillment. Maintain accurate data entry for all transactions related to parts management. Analyze supply chain processes to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions. Fabricate or modify parts as necessary to meet specific requirements or specifications.

Skills

Proficiency in data entry with a strong attention to detail. Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices. Familiarity with CMMS systems for inventory management. Strong negotiation skills to secure the best prices from suppliers. Experience in a dealership environment is preferred. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Understanding of HVAC systems and components is a plus. Ability to effectively source materials and manage vendor relationships.
