This position is vital to the dealership in achieving parts sales and ensuring profitable operations of the parts department.
Responsibilities:
Personnel
Hiring and training of new employees
All aspects of payroll (timecards, time off requests, scheduling)
Develop and direct all Parts employees to ensure they meet their assigned sales targets.
Performance reviews
Ensure the training of all Parts personnel are current and up-to-date.
Daily
Place daily emergency and direct ship orders
Monitor DIA and ensure adequate stocking levels.
Direct ship orders
Review Overrides
Review Accounts Payable Invoices
Inventory
Manage all aspects of inventory no bin locations, obsolete parts, cycle counts and yearly inventory.
Financial
Assist in development, analyze and control the budgets for Parts being financially responsible.
Review Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Yearly Sales Targets and Expense Controls
Monthly financial review with Chief Financial Officer and Director of Operations, NB
Other
Warehouse supervision - shipping/receiving.
Cores management and warranty parts returns
Request SPA's from Navistar and monitor for payment
Maintain stock and cleanliness in show room.
Ensure all customers get first rate customer service.
Maintain Navistar Training
Adhere to all ECI and Safety policies.
Other duties as assigned.
