Position Summary:
The Parts Manager is accountable for operating an efficient and profitable parts department with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, inventory management and meeting sales targets. The
Parts Manager is an essential part of the dealership location, one who works in collaboration with other departments to ensure the customers transaction and dealership experience is a success.
Role & Responsibilities:
Parts Sales and Business Development:
Sell parts ranging from heavy-truck, bus, trailer & all makes
Provide prompt, courteous and accurate service to customers while making a sale, quoting, taking orders and checking availability
Meet or exceed monthly parts sales targets
Source a variety of part options to help meet the needs of our customers and make the sale
Follow up on sales quotes, leads and potential new customers
Drive sales by proactively seeking opportunities to generate parts sales and establish new customer relationships though cold calls and visits in the marketplace
Management:
Manage day to day business operations for the Parts department to achieve optimal results in all financial performance categories
Manage staff productivity, training and performance by providing leadership, guidance and effective communication
Inventory management to ensure accuracy and minimize expense
Continuously communicate with customers to resolve issues and ensure the customers' needs are being met
Analyze department financial and inventory reporting
Other:
Ensure the department is clean and organized to maintain efficiency and meet required safety standards
Effectively implement Company policies and work safety rules & regulations
Participate in any technical training or development training that is made available
Perform the role in a professional manner that aligns with the Company's' values and ideals

Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years' parts sales experience with knowledge of all-makes or heavy/medium truck parts
Ambition to professionally advance with a desire to grow sales
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Excellent customer service skills with a strong commitment to providing the customer with a positive buying experience.
Excellent computer skills; including Microsoft Word and Excel
