Our Client has a fantastic reputation within the auotmive and dealership industry and are looking for a strong, dedicated and experience Parts Manager to run their team in Rocky Mountain House, AB.
Reporting to the General Manager of the dealership, you will be responsible for managing a team of parts and service staff in the daily administrative, field service and customer service parts shipping activities.
We are looking for a seasoned leader with previous customer facing experience, managing department P&L, preparing budgets, providing service training, labor and materials planning, and ensuring customers are receiving top notch service as well as have specific knowledge of parts and service.
Responsibiites also include;
- Work with other stake holders within the company to improve corporate client relationships.
- Hire, train, motivate and manage staff in order to improve customer service and help expand the business.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Promote safety and environmental responsibility within the operation.
- Build team culture and strive to ensure the parts and service is the best in the industry.
- 5+ years of experience as a Parts Manager or Supervisor role from the automotive/dealership industry.
- Strong mechanical ability supported by possibly previous experience as a technician.
- Solid people leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve a common goal.
- Ability to use information to make confident decisions.
- Excellent negotiation, conflict resolution and mediation skills.
- Ability to exercise judgment in making sound decisions.
