Parts & Inventory Control Manager
GTA

Full-time on-site position- 8am-5pm
Salary Up to85K

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the inventory of parts, ensuring an adequate supply to meet customer demands and servicing requirements.
  • Monitor service technicians\' part requests and initiate orders for replenishment to ensure efficient and timely repairs.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to place orders for both original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and aftermarket parts.
  • Collaborate with the service department to align parts availability with scheduled maintenance and repair work orders.
  • Maintain an up-to-date and organized parts catalog through ERP software, making it easy for service technicians/parts salespeople to locate and order the required parts.
  • Handle warranty claims and returns for faulty or defective parts to ensure timely replacements and cost recovery.
  • Prepare and present inventory reports, including stock levels, turnover rates, and parts usage trends, to assist in decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing team to negotiate favorable pricing with suppliers and manage cost control efforts.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with parts suppliers and negotiate favorable terms for part purchases.
  • Manage the team within parts & equipment, providing guidance, training, and support.
Qualifications:
  • Preference for a bachelor\'s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Relevant certifications in inventory management are a plus.
  • Proven track record (5+ years) in parts and inventory control management
  • Proficiency in using specialized inventory management software to track, monitor, and optimize parts inventory efficiently.
  • Strong data analysis skills, capable of leveraging historical service data and usage patterns to forecast future parts demand accurately.
  • Experience in negotiating with suppliers, coordinating OEM and aftermarket parts orders, and cultivating positive vendor relationships.
