Position Overview:
As a Parts Driver, you'll be more than just a driver - you'll be the face of Velocity Truck Centres for many of our customers. This role is all about delivering exceptional service while ensuring our customers and service departments receive the parts they need, on time and with professionalism. You'll handle the prompt and safe delivery and pickup of parts to and from customers, vendors, and other branches, while representing our brand in every interaction. When not on the road, you'll support the warehouse team with shipping, receiving, and organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate the company vehicle to pick up and deliver parts across the area
Be a positive, professional representative of Velocity Truck Centres to customers and vendors
Assist with loading and unloading trucks
Operate a forklift when needed (training provided)
Pick, stock, and organize parts to maintain an efficient work area
Identify and locate various heavy-duty truck parts accurately
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic upkeep checks
Follow all provincial and company safe driving standards
Support the shipping and receiving team when not on delivery runs
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
Strong customer service and communication skills
Previous driving or warehouse experience is an asset
Forklift experience is an asset (training provided)
