Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Parts Driver to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting parts and materials to various locations in and around the Nisku area with occasional out of town deliveries and pick ups, while ensuring timely deliveries and excellent customer service. This role requires effective communication skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate company vehicles and trailers to deliver parts to welders, customers and vendors.
- Load and unload parts and materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation for all shipments.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Assist in the organization and maintenance of the trucks and shops, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
- Perform daily routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly.

Qualifications

- Valid class 5 Alberta drivers license.
- Clean drivers abstract.
- Previous experience towing trailers.
- Capable of performing lifting tasks as needed, with an emphasis on safety protocols.
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
- Welding background or first year welding apprenticeship would be considered an asset.
- Crane and loader experience would be considered an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$26.67 per hour
