Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Parts Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering parts to various locations while ensuring exceptional customer service. This role involves driving a quarter ton truck, loading and unloading materials, and maintaining efficient route driving practices. The Parts Driver will play a crucial role in supporting our operations by ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining inventory accuracy. While not delivering, individual will be assisting in day-to-day warehousing duties, such as order picking, receiving and general warehouse labor.

Responsibilities

Deliver parts to customers and vendors in a timely manner while adhering to scheduled routes. Load and unload parts using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual lifting techniques as necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining signatures and documenting any discrepancies. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues during delivery. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization. Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

Proven experience in customer service, with strong communication skills. Previous warehouse experience is preferred, particularly in a delivery or logistics environment. Familiarity with route driving and delivery driver responsibilities. Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks is highly desirable. Comfortable driving manual transmission vehicles when necessary. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols while on the road.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
