Parts Delivery Driver

for the Dearborn Ford Dealership in Kamloops, BC.

In the unionized position of

Parts Delivery Driver

reporting to the

Parts Manager,

the successful candidate is responsible to ensure the accurate, timely, and safe delivery of automotive parts to customers, service departments, or other businesses.

Responsibilities:

Obtaining and transporting parts orders while planning the most efficient routes based on urgency and geography

Communicating regularly with the Parts Manager regarding outbound orders

Demonstrating the ability to be adaptable with any changes in routes

Loading and unloading the parts from the delivery vehicle

Maintaining accurate working records of the orders and deliveries

Adhering to all safeguard rules and regulations

Supporting other departments as needed

Housekeeping (i.e. sweeping, maintaining a clean vehicle)

Other duties as needed

To be successful in this role, you must have:

3 or more years of driving experience Class 5 Driver's License and clean Driver's Abstract Previous experience is an asset - especially with Ford products Must have computer skills for basic inventory management work Efficient, dependable, managing route planning, good communication and organization skills
Physically able to lift 50lbs.

Ability to operate and drive a full-size delivery van

Salary Range: $ 22.50 per hour

Working Hours: 8 hours

Total Hours per week: 40 hours

Workday Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with 30 mins lunch break
