Job Description

Westrans is a leading remanufacturer and supplier of parts for commercial trucks, light duty vehicles, agricultural equipment, and heavy-duty industrial equipment. We are looking to hire a Parts Salesperson to join our sales team who will help provide excellent customer service to our customers.

This is a full-time permanent position, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday shifts (8:00 AM to 12:00 PM) on a rotating basis.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

- Assist customers with parts inquiries by phone, email and in person.

- Locate products and availability from vendors and provide delivery dates to customers.

- Accurately record parts and pricing when processing quotes, work orders and invoices through the computer system.

- Search part numbers through online computer systems and catalogs.

- Process sale transactions, credits and returns as required.

- Participate in training sessions as required.

- Effectively communicate product details and warranty information to customers.

- Assist customers with loading and unloading products from their vehicles.

- Perform all aspects of selling to maintain and develop new and existing customers.

Skills & Requirements:

- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service.

- Knowledge and experience with automotive and heavy-duty parts.

- Parts Department experience considered an asset.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office such as Outlook and Excel.

- Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a timely manner.

- Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
