Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Counter Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our clients while managing various tasks related to dealership operations. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to handle cash transactions, and a basic understanding of automotive repair processes. A background in retail sales or experience in a dealership environment is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries regarding automotive parts and services. Process cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a balanced cash drawer. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to manage inventory and track orders effectively. Communicate clearly with customers and team members to ensure all needs are met promptly. Negotiate pricing and service options with customers, ensuring satisfaction while adhering to dealership policies. Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring that all parts and supplies are easily accessible. Assist in retail sales by promoting products and services that meet customer needs. Stay updated on market trends and new automotive products to provide informed recommendations to customers.

Requirements

Previous experience in a dealership or automotive repair environment is preferred. Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in processing transactions. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for inventory management and reporting purposes. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this will enhance customer interactions. Ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining a positive customer experience. A passion for the automotive industry and a willingness to learn about new products and services.
