We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Counter Person to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support. Your responsibilities will include managing sales transactions, assisting customers with inquiries, and ensuring a smooth operation at the counter. Ideal candidates will have experience in retail sales or automotive environments and possess strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their needs at the counter. Process sales transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures. Provide information about products and services, helping customers make informed decisions. Manage order fulfillment processes to ensure timely delivery of products. Maintain an organized and clean workspace to enhance customer experience. Utilize effective phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.

Skills

Previous experience in a dealership or automotive repair environment is preferred. Proficiency in POS systems and cash handling practices. Strong background in retail sales with a focus on customer service excellence. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele. Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is advantageous. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with customers and team members. Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and order management. Ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining positive customer relations. Knowledge of marketing principles to promote products effectively within the store environment. Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
