The

Parts Coordinator

supports Shop Foremen & Parts Dept. in the execution of effective, efficient, and organized production and parts related responsibilities. The goal is to produce timely and accurate collision repairs services, leading to decreased repair cycle time, increased overall delivered vehicle volume, greater communication and organization through production, and improved customer service metrics.

Primary Objectives & Responsibilities:

Place order for "Pre-orders" Maintain a log/system to track backorders, shipping delays and missing parts Order all supplement parts Cost all parts, supplementing price increases as necessary File all invoices prior to the end of each day Ensure the reliable delivery of ordered parts, inventory stock and tools required to ensure cost-effective repairs and guarantee the delivery of high-quality service Develop beneficial vendor relations

Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in an automotive parts department Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to lift up-to 40lbs Knowledge and work experience with damaged automobile repairs Have a strong attention to detail Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment.
