PDI is currently looking to fill a position for Parts Clerk for our Guelph, ON terminal.

Summary: Parts Clerk

role involves maintaining an inventory of parts at the Elizabeth Street garage for motor vehicles, trailers, and industrial equipment. Position requires maintaining inventory, stocking/issuing parts, and supplies and purchasing parts and services.

What you'll do as a Parts Clerk:

Catalogue Inventory; updating automated inventory system Receive shipments; ensuring accuracy of orders and obtaining MSDS General stockroom practices and procedures Assist in maintaining work orders; labour and parts details Use a variety of materials and inventory operations equipment, i.e. forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, computers, etc.

Skills and Qualifications:

High school diploma/GED Two years of automotive parts counter work experience or any combination of education and experience Valid Ontario drivers' license Valid Forklift License Ability to perform physical tasks; walking, bending, stooping, and lifting or carrying moderately heavy objects.
