As a Parts Advisor, you will provide critical parts support to the service center; liaise with other departments, as well as focusing on the continuous development of your skills. We\xe2\x80\x99ve created one of the most innovative vehicles ever made and you will help ensure an equally innovative service to customers. \xc2\xb7 Source parts from distribution centers and other service center locations and allocate them to vehicle service appointments
\xc2\xb7 Monitor inventory within the parts system, communicate parts updates and availability with relevant team members
\xc2\xb7 Review upcoming appointments and ensure they are properly prepared and documented in our system \xc2\xb7 Prepare internal orders for shipment to other service center locations
\xc2\xb7 Process and return warranty part shipments for quality assurance including handling hazardous materials and high-voltage batteries
\xc2\xb7 Systematically receive, inspect, and put away stock and special-order parts \xc2\xb7 Consistently manage the inventory stock level by performing daily perpetual parts counts, and reporting discrepancies
\xc2\xb7 Proactively maintain automated inventory replenishment lists
\xc2\xb7 Ensure excellent organization of stock room to Tesla standard with grocery store aesthetics
\xc2\xb7 Collaborate across organization and communicate parts updates and availability
\xc2\xb7 Escalate parts issues from internal or external suppliers in collaboration with Regional Parts Manager, acting as a point of contact to vendors and giving constructive feedback that will contribute to future improvements
\xc2\xb7 Pick up and transport parts using van or forklift, engaging 3rd parties when necessary
\xc2\xb7 Additional responsibilities as assigned to meet business needs
\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication skills and ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with both internal stakeholders and customers
\xc2\xb7 Ability to thrive in a team-based environment and achieve common goals

\xc2\xb7 Able to certify at Parts Advisors 1 and obtain Tesla forklift certification
\xc2\xb7 Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license in the country in which you are applying, 2-year minimum driving record required with a clean driving history; ability to obtain appropriate state licensing, where applicable Physical Requirements

\xc2\xb7 Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs., climb or balance, kneel or crouch, and reach to retrieve parts.
\xc2\xb7 Specific vision abilities required include: ability to identify parts, operate systems, and identify potential safety hazards in the parts department
Education
\xc2\xb7 High School diploma or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability, Associate\xe2\x80\x99s or Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or certificate preferred
\xc2\xb7 Proven work experience as a Parts Advisor within a fast-paced automotive organization
\xc2\xb7 Possession of a forklift certificate is highly desirable
