Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their automotive parts needs, ensuring they receive the correct parts in a timely manner. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for the automotive industry, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.

Duties

Assist customers in identifying and locating the right automotive parts for their needs. Maintain an organized inventory of parts and accessories, ensuring accuracy and availability. Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems to process transactions efficiently. Communicate effectively with customers regarding product features, benefits, and availability. Collaborate with the sales team to promote special offers and new products. Handle cashiering duties, including processing payments and managing cash registers. Provide exceptional customer service to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. Stay updated on industry trends and new products to better assist customers.

Skills

Proven experience in retail sales, preferably within an automotive or dealership environment. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a diverse customer base. Strong sales management skills to drive performance and meet sales targets. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with customers. Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing. Knowledge of automotive repair processes and parts is highly desirable. Ability to maintain accurate records of inventory and sales transactions. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
