As an Auto Parts Counter Sales Representative, you will work directly with customers who are looking to improve or fix their cars, providing advice and customer service to ensure they get the necessary parts. You are the heart of our retail store and will play a critical role in our operations.
Responsibilities
:
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Respond to in-bound and out-bound telephone inquiries, walk-in customers, and internet inquiries. Provide expert advice and recommendations on auto parts.
Develop customer relationships through excellent product knowledge and creating a strong first impression.
Prepare and process customer orders, check the availability of stock from various inquiries.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current sales, promotions, and policies regarding payment and exchanges.
Manage stock control, ensuring consumables and service parts are regularly replenished. Provide a swift service to the workshop, other departments, as well as trade/retail customers.
Handle warranty claims processing related to parts issues, and complete all relevant administration promptly and accurately, including customer records and invoicing.
Provide feedback to management regarding customer needs, concerns, and satisfaction.
Keep the sales area clean, orderly, and well-stocked.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily tasks and objectives.
Qualifications
:
High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certification in automotive parts or related field is a plus.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in auto parts sales is mandatory.
Knowledge of auto parts is required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer complaints professionally.
Must have a positive and upbeat personality.
