Parts Advisor:

to our busy Parts Department! The perfect candidate will demonstrate attention to detail and commitment to customer service with a passion in helping our customers. If you love to accessorize and have an eye for dressing up vehicles, this could be a great opportunity for you!

Responsibilities: :

Ensures that the same high quality level of service provided to outside customers is also provided to internal dealership customers. Works with the service advisors to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs. Sell parts through the shop, by phone or over the counter to customers. Assist walk-in customers with the selection of parts, suggest companion requirements and relay specials to ensure customer is aware of the product line. Provide price quotes and other related parts information via the telephone. Determine availability on out-of-stock items and, if requested by customer, submit emergency order. Retrieve parts purchased from stock. Review files weekly to keep track of back orders and return to vendor items. Issue credit for parts returned; ensure invoice number is on hand to verify purchases and pricing. Assist the Parts Manager in ordering stocked parts. Analyzes departmental operations and storage layout and revises as needed for maximum effectiveness. Handles customer complaints immediately and according to the dealership's guidelines Follow all company and manufacturer policies, directives and procedures. Comply with required health and safety regulations. Maintains professional appearance. Other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills and an aptitude for customer service and sales are essential Previous Automotive or Parts knowledge will be considered an asset Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Valid driver's license and acceptable driving abstract
