Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Parts Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their parts needs, ensuring they receive the right products. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Assist customers in identifying and locating the correct parts for their vehicles. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Maintain an organized inventory of parts, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely reordering. Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Communicate effectively with customers to negotiate prices and promote additional products or services. Utilize math skills to calculate costs, discounts, and taxes accurately. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall customer experience.

Skills

Strong sales abilities with a focus on customer satisfaction. Excellent communication skills to convey information clearly and effectively. Negotiation skills to achieve favorable outcomes for both customers and the company. Proven customer service experience in a retail or similar environment. Ability to market products effectively to meet customer needs. Proficient math skills for accurate calculations related to sales and inventory management.
Pay rates will be discussed privately based on experience. Candidate would be required to work 2 evenings and 1 Saturday bi-weekly.
