The incumbent will oversee the regional Advanced Equipment Short Term and Long Term Loan Programs on behalf of the Canadian Red Cross Health Equipment Loan Program (HELP). They will work closely with representatives from the regional Health Authority and will be responsible for ensuring and achieving the contractual obligations of these services and facilitating excellent communication and issue management with the regional Health Authority and their health care professionals. The Partner Services Associate works closely with the Medical Equipment Distribution Supervisor (MEDS), for program service delivery, inventory management, the maintenance of select advanced medical equipment and HELP site management.

In this role, you will:

  • Monitor program delivery to ensure performance standards are met and quality control; analyzes program service delivery; recommends improvements.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations including, but not limited to, accuracy of client loan records, waitlist and overdue loans
  • Audit the Equipment Status Report lists and provide guidance to mitigate patterns of misuse or equipment issues for the Long Term Loan Program (Vancouver Coastal Health and Fraser Health regions only)
  • Provide direct service to clients, as necessary.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate the Partner Service Assistant Coordinators and volunteers
  • Monitor & manage department budget for advanced equipment repairs and works with MEDS to determine advanced equipment purchases.
  • Represent the Red Cross in Advisory Board meetings with the regional Health Authority and works with members to respond to and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Maintain solid working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
What we are looking for:
  • Completion of a 2-year post-secondary diploma in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of job-related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years\' experience supervising employees and/or volunteers.
  • Minimum 2 years working in front line customer service; experience working in a high-volume call center an asset
  • Experience facilitating meetings and collaborating with external stakeholders, preferably within health care
  • Proven experience working with a diverse population.
  • Valid BC (British Columbia) Driver`s license required.
  • First Aid (standard or emergency) an asset- Strong computer skills, including competence in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams, SharePoint and Outlook programs
  • Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
Working conditions:
  • The majority of the work is performed in an office environment.
  • Applicant must be willing to travel throughout region, as required
