Global Pet Foods St. Albert has one full/part time position open at our store. The position will be for a maximum of 40 hours weekly during the evening, and on weekends.
We would be very interested in an employee who wants to grow within our company, our part time candidate may eventually have the opportunity to move into a position with more hours and responsibility when such a position becomes available.

The responsibilities of our part time employees primarily consist of:
*Customer service - Helpful and knowledgeable assistance to meet customer's needs in selecting the right food and accessories for their pet.

*Processing sales with a POS system.

*Maintaining the presentation of the sales floor.

*Assisting in the receiving of shipments, and stocking of products.

*Ensuring store tasks are completed while in the absence of management.

*Assisting with the organization and completion of store functions, including (but not limited to) events/sales, fundraisers, and inventory management.

Our ideal candidates will have the following qualities:
*Exceptional customer service experience.

*Bondable, with cash handling experience.

*A friendly, and helpful attitude.

*Ability to take initiative.

*Effective communication skills.

*A team player who can also work independently, and shows initiative.

*Must be able to properly, and comfortably lift up to 50lbs regularly.

*A love for animals! Are you genuinely interested in their health, happiness, and well being.

*Experience and/or education with animal care, nutrition, and/or behavior is not required, but is preferred.
