Job Description

:

We are seeking a vigilant and reliable Security Guard to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by patrolling and monitoring premises, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. The site is not transit convenient and you will need a vehicle to get to the work site.

Key Responsibilities:

Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates. Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises. Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons. Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property. Answer alarms and investigate disturbances. Escort or drive motor vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations and to provide personal protection. Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas. Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a security guard or relevant position. Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety. Familiarity with report writing. Excellent surveillance and observation skills. Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense. Registered as a security officer. Outstanding customer service skills. Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment.
