We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding dining experience to our guests through effective communication, time management, and attention to detail.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Micros POS system. Provide menu recommendations and upsell additional items to enhance the dining experience. Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation. Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently while adhering to cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction. Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines at all times.

Qualifications

SMART SERVE CERTIFIED Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members. Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus but not required.
