In 1997 Michael Kacaba launched Kacaba Vineyards; saving prime Niagara Escarpment Benchland from a developer's bulldozer. Today, Michael and his team craft a full range of wines, including their highly awarded estate grown Syrah (Ontario's oldest plantings). With a view across Lake Ontario to Toronto, guests are welcome to sample wines with multiple awards from Canadian & International competitions, including the Decanter World Wine Awards (U.K.).

Kacaba Vineyards Winery in beautiful Vineland is currently seeking outgoing brand ambassadors to represent our wines and conduct educational wine tasting, tours, special event pairings and sales.

Responsible for engaging in discussion with customers and providing key details about products and merchandise.

Position Responsibilities:

Make suggestions and recommendations regarding wine and food pairings. Actively engage and enhance customers' experience through education & product samplings. Product and brand presentations. Data entry and email database maintenance Assist with creative content for Wine club Mailings, E-Blasts and Social Media. Work as part of a close knit team towards the success of the company Ongoing learning about wine, wine-making and the tourism market in Niagara.

Qualifications:

Smart Serve Certification

Bartender/Server experience (an asset) Neat in appearance Ability to work independently Excellent communication skills to build customer relations Wine tasting experience (an asset) Must be of legal drinking age Physically fit to meet the position's requirements - standing for long periods, lifting up-to 40lbs (case of wine)
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week
