Job Description
## Job Summary
We are seeking passionate High School social studies teachers to join our team. We are a boys only private school whose English classes are in the afternoon only. Our ideal candidates will be dedicated to educating students.
## Availability
- Classes are Sun-Thurs 3:45pm - 6:45pm only. An ideal part-time job for an active educator.
## Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in line with the curriculum
- Utilize various teaching methods to ensure all students understand the material
- Provide one-on-one tutoring to students who require additional assistance
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
## Requirements -Strong classroom management skills
- Teaching and/or experience with high school age boys
- Ability to educate students, even with special education needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills:
- Subject proficiency
- Strong communication skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00-$55.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
