Part Time Student General Operators

$18/hour

SPIROL Industries Ltd. has immediate multiple openings for

Students:

Part-Time

General Operators/Labourers,

to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced production environment.

This position will require performing various manufacturing production tasks in varying departments throughout the facility. Candidates must be available for work during the week and may include weekends as well.

What You'll Do:

As a Part-Time Student General Operator/Labourer, you'll play a key role in ensuring our machines are running smoothly and efficiently. You'll be responsible for sorting parts manually or on mechanical and laser sorting machines, as well as assisting our Secondary Operations Team in various tasks. Don't worry if you haven't worked in this exact role before -

full training

is provided, and we're here to help you succeed!

Some of your daily tasks will include:

Utilizing hand and/or machine sorting equipment for defect detection

Preparing items for shipping - packing parts either manually or utilizing packing equipment

Operating manual and automatic wash systems

Performing general labour duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Ensure general housekeeping goals are met

What We're Looking For:

Grade 12 Education

(OSSGD or equivalent)

Students currently enrolled in post-secondary education

Willingness and ability to achieve

forklift

and

overhead crane certification

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Flexibility to work 24+ hours per week and weekends when needed

Safety Shoes

(required for the job)
