Site Description:
Working assigned shifts, you will be responsible for patrolling the campus and monitoring surveillance cameras and completing written reports.
You will be expected to perform regular patrols and interact with client staff to provide direction and promote good customer service while providing a security presence.
Position Details:
Position: Part-Time Security Guard
Site: DynaCare
Site Address: 245 Pall Mall Street, London, ON N6A 1P4
Overtime Method: Averaging Agreement - calculating after 88 hours bi-weekly
Hours: Thursday, Friday & Saturday 2300-0600hrs
Payrate: $18.00/hr
Posting Date: July 17, 2025
Internal Closing Date: July 24, 2025
External Closing Date: August 14, 2025
Key responsibilities:

• Implement security measures to protect property, control access to sites, patrol assigned areas to monitor activities and ensure client rules and regulations are followed
• Maintain written reports
• Perform security checks and liaise with client staff
• Maintaining a positive, productive work environment through collaboration.
• Cooperate with local law enforcement, emergency services, and other authorities when necessary.
• Ensure all safety equipment is properly maintained and ready for use.

Prerequisites:

• Valid Security License for the province of Ontario
• Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor)
• English (oral and written) fluency is a must
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field preferred.
• Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB)
• Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position. Please be aware: The UoF/MOAB training is not paid as it is a pre-requisite; however, Paladin will cover all of the costs of the training with a 6-month commitment to the position/availability
• Authorized to legally work in Canada
