Location: Central Region
Under the direction of the Manager of Operations, this position will be responsible for the collection of residential household solid waste in a 33 cubic yard compactor (tandem) truck and deliver to the Regional Landfill site and or Transfer Station.
Duties:
Driver inspects vehicle prior to and after driving vehicle (pre trip and post trip inspection) Regular one collection per household per week or as advised Driver maintains mileage reports and vehicle inspection reports Driver required to carry out regular maintenance/repair on collection vehicle Drivers must display a safe, courteous, and professional manner with the general public Must be available for emergencies if they should arise Other duties as required
Qualifications:
Graduated from high school or equivalent. Possess a valid Air Brake - Tandem driver's license (Class 3). Good driving record and a minimum of three years driving experience.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $29.13 per hour
