We are seeking a dedicated and skilled on call Snow Plow and Sand Truck Operators to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensure all snow is removed from parking lots and apply sand afterwards to ensure traction. This role requires the ability to operate heavy machinery in winter weather conditions or previous experience in a sanding truck. This position is on call, meaning the hours very depending on how much snow we get.
Duties
Operate snow plow equipment to clear snow and ice from designated areas.
Perform routine maintenance on snow plowing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Utilize hand tools and power tools for additional snow removal tasks as needed.
Assist with landscape maintenance, including mowing, tree trimming, and irrigation during non-winter months.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and effective snow removal operations.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment is stored properly after use.
Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries while operating machinery.
Experience
Proven experience in snow plowing or related fields such as landscaping, lawn care, or construction.
Familiarity with mechanical systems and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Experience with horticulture, gardening, hardscape installation, and tree care is a plus.
Ability to operate an excavator or similar heavy machinery is advantageous.

Pay: $23.00-$32.00 per hour
