Part-Time Financial Analyst / Sales Planner (SaaS)
Location: Ontario, Canada (Remote or Hybrid) | Type: Contract / Part-Time (15-20 hours

The Role
You'll work directly with the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to manage sales forecasting,
financial planning, and balance sheet tracking. Your work will drive strategic
decision-making by turning data into clear, actionable insights for leadership. This position
is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys blending analytical depth with
commercial understanding -- and wants to grow with a scaling SaaS business.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain sales forecasts, revenue projections, and capacity models.
Track sales and pipeline performance against targets and budgets.
Maintain balance sheet and P&L; trackers for financial accuracy.
Partner with leadership to model revenue and growth scenarios.
Prepare concise board and investor financial summaries.
Continuously improve forecasting and reporting processes.
Qualifications
5-7 years of experience in financial planning, FP&A, or sales operations, ideally within
a SaaS or technology business.
Strong proficiency in advanced Excel for financial modeling.
Ability to translate financial models into easily digestible visuals.
Knowledge of SaaS metrics such as ARR, MRR, CAC, LTV, payback, and churn.
Understanding of balance sheets and financial statements.
Analytical thinker with attention to detail and clear communication skills
Self-driven with the ability to work independently.
Based in Ontario, Canada (remote work accepted).
Time Commitment & Compensation
Starting at 15-20 hours per month, with flexibility as needs evolve. Hourly rate: $70 per hour
Competitive, based on experience. Reports directly to the Chief Commercial Officer. Role
has potential to expand in scope and responsibility as SAI Group grows.
