JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be the face of Benanna Bakery, engaging with customers, processing transactions, and supporting the day-to-day operations of our bakery retail space.

You will greet customers, answer questions, and handle any concerns with professionalism and kindness. Your role will include operating the cash register, processing sales, returns, and exchanges, and utilizing upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience. Maintaining an organized and inviting sales floor through inventory restocking and presentation is essential. Additionally, you will contribute ideas to our seasonal menus and participate in daily cleaning and maintenance of your workspace.

Availability:

Part-time, 8-20 hours per week Perfect position for after-school (can accommodate after school hours - 3:30-5:30pm) Shifts primarily during week days as well as alternating Saturdays Flexibility to work additional hours during peak bakery hours and special events

Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service Operate cash register efficiently and accurately Restock and organize inventory to ensure a visually appealing sales floor Assist with seasonal menu input and promotional displays Maintain cleanliness and organization of your workspace daily Perform additional duties as required by management

Requirements:

Ability to sign our standard employment agreement and adhere to our code of conduct Reliable transportation to and from work Must follow our dress code and uphold bakery standards Prior retail or customer service experience preferred but not required

Compensation & Benefits:

$17.90-$19 per hour, based on experience Staff discount and free food on shift
