Glendale Early Learning is a licensed full day non-profit Child Care Centre serving families from infant to 4 years. Glendale offers children a positive atmosphere where they can learn socially, independently, emotionally, physically and intellectually. Every child is given the opportunity to grow and develop in a safe, caring and stimulating environment. We are looking for a passionate, caring and supportive individual to join our Glendale family.

Job Requirements

Registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators and in good standing Diploma in Early Childhood Education from an accredited Canadian institution( or deemed equivalent) Current standard First Aid and CPR-C certification Valid Food Handlers certification is required prior to employment Up to date immunizations and a clear Vulnerable Sector Screening Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience in planning and implementing inclusive, play-based learning activities that aligns with How Does Learning Happen Ability to build strong relationships with young children, families and team members QCCN Certified Physically able to function within an Early Learning environment

Five (5) hours/day position Organize snacks and catered lunches including cleanup Clean kitchen, staff room and staff washroom On occasion, provide full time supply coverage during staff absences Attend staff meetings, training and professional development as required Maintain a safe, healthy and stimulating environment Assist staff during transition periods and lunch coverage Establish positive and open communication with parents and team members Ensure compliance with the Child Care and Early Years Act Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures Foster an inclusive environment that respects and celebrates diversity
