The incumbent provides support and guidance to applicants and students, provides support to the faculty coordinators, and plans and attends program events, including information sessions and graduation. The position also coordinates program marketing and communications, and is responsible for creating and maintaining student records, and coordinating program reviews. As part of the LAS operations team, the position also provides front-line support to students inquiring about elective courses during busy periods.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide front-line, first contact support and advice to students and applicants via telephone, e-mail, and in person.
  • Ascertain needs, provide information, resolve problems and re-direct inquiries accordingly.
  • Correspond with potential students/applicants and track enrollment.
  • Maintain articulation agreements and advise students/potential students on academic pathways.
  • Update web content related to programs, including course outlines.
  • Maintain program records and data.
  • Maintain student records and class lists; liaise with Registration to ensure student records are accurate.
  • Coordinate grade entry with program teachers; prepare student records for convocation.
  • Produce reports to assist managers with planning and decision-making.
  • Produce reports for sharing information with internal and external stakeholders including the International Centre, Registrar's Office, Dean's Office, and external organizations as required.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
  • Three-year diploma or degree or equivalent from a recognized post-secondary institute in Business Administration.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience including practical experience working in a demanding student service environment and working effectively on the front-line, as well as sound knowledge navigating computer software (e.g. spreadsheets, databases and relational databases).
