Job Description

Applications are invited for Part-Time Professor for teaching courses within the Cybersecurity Graduate Certificate Program, School of Technology, Niagara College. PT Teaching position will commence in September 2026. Candidates must be available to teach typically between the hours of 8:30am - 5:30pm (with the possibility of classes being scheduled up to 10:30pm). This position may require either in-person at Welland Campus, online or hybrid (combination of in-person at Welland campus and online) teaching. Faculty members are expected to be present on campus as required to fulfill academic or instructional needs.



Reporting to the Associate Dean, School of Technology, this exciting role requires the successful candidate to provide academic leadership while creating a positive and accessible learning environment for our diverse student population.

Required qualifications:



Degree in cybersecurity-related discipline (e.g. computer science, information security, information technology, network security, electrical, computer or software engineering, digital forensics or related fields). For other degree holders, please explain how your combined education and work experience are relevant 3-5 years of recent industry experience in the cyber security/information security domain Demonstrated knowledge of excellent teaching and learning practices Demonstrated ability to work with diverse student populations Evidence of integrating technology effectively into teaching practices Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills Excellent communication skills Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred candidates may also possess:



Candidates with advanced degrees (Master's or Ph.D) in cybersecurity-related programs are preferred Industry qualifications including CISSP, CISM, CEH or equivalent are an asset Competency in curriculum delivery and evaluation Experience teaching at a post-secondary level
