We are looking for a pharmacist to work 3 days per week, with weekend and statutory holiday rotation.

Summary

As a Pharmacist at Joe's Specialty Pharmacy, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. This position is based in East Vancouver, with 3 shifts a week and holiday coverage.

Responsibilities

Dispense medications accurately and provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients. Monitor patient health and progress to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes. Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information in compliance with regulations. Participate in community health initiatives and promote wellness programs.
Requirements

Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of BC. Certified for administration of injections Completion of OAT-CAMPP training Kroll experience preferred Strong knowledge of medical terminology and acute care practices. Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
