Looking to hire a part time pharmacist to join our team at SUNWEST Pharmacy in Surrey (Guildford area). We offer competitive wages depending on work experience. There is an opportunity for career advancement (manager) as well as an option to partly invest. Profit sharing on clinical services will be offered. Minimal OAT and our software is Kroll. We have two regular part time onsite trained assistants for your shifts. Great working relationship with physicians in the clinic next door to the pharmacy. Looking for a positive independent hardworking pharmacist to help us grow in our clinical services and serve our community. Position to start Jan 1/2026.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing expert advice on drug therapies, and ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals. Duties

Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with physician orders and legal requirements Provide consultation to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and modify patient medication plans Ensure proper storage, labeling, and documentation of pharmaceuticals Monitor patient responses to medications and report adverse reactions or concerns Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and hospital policies Assist in inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and auditing medication supplies Educate patients and staff on new medications or changes in drug protocols

Skills

Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration protocols Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations Ability to interpret prescriptions accurately and provide clear guidance to patients and healthcare staff Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in dispensing medications Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to legal standards governing pharmacy practice

Pay: $48.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22 per week
