Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation at two government office locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning office spaces, lunchrooms, and washrooms, ensuring that both facilities are clean, hygienic, and presentable for the next business day.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and garbage removal.
Clean and disinfect lunchroom/kitchenette areas.
Sanitize washrooms thoroughly and restock supplies as needed.
Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning materials and supplies.
Lock up and secure facilities after cleaning, if required.
Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor promptly.
Follow all health and safety protocols, especially those required in government-operated spaces.
Requirements:
Prior cleaning or janitorial experience preferred.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Must have reliable transportation to commute between Hamilton and Aberfoyle.
Comfortable working late evenings or nights.
Physically fit and able to lift up to 25 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.20-$17.21 per hour
