Position:

Part-time Med Tech

0-74 hours biweekly

Varied shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Must be available for all.

Job Requirements:

Must have successfully completed recognized Medication Administration Course

Minimum 2 years Experience in Medication Administration

Minimum P.S.W. certificate and/or certified nursing program

Experience in a long term care facility and/or retirement home setting

To provide safe Nursing Care, under supervision of the Resident Care Supervisor and/or

Registered staff

Able to complete assigned duties and follow instructions in a timely manner

Able to read and write; understanding of and ability to speak English

Ability to keep resident information records updated and record communications to other Nursing staff

Able to maintain confidentiality of medical records and information and understand and respect limitation of job duties.

Strong sense of responsibility and ability to react quickly and calmly under pressure, in an emergency situation

Be courteous at all times and able to meet resident and family needs

Able to perform all duties of this position

Suitable nursing uniform - neat and clean in appearance with minimal jewelry

Salary: Starting wage $23.50 per hour
