Part Time Lumber Clerk
Job Description
Sun Valley Co-op is hiring a part-time Lumber Clerk! This position is perfect for a candidate with great attention to detail, a hard work ethic, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. 10-15 hours per week
What you'll do:
Come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude.
Provide outstanding courteous customer service at all times.
Create a welcoming atmosphere for customers, engage in friendly conversations, etc.
Process customer transactions through our point-of-sale system
Help customers load lumber material into their vehicles, or help delivery staff load deliveries
Stocking & facing shelves
General housekeeping duties
Who you are:
Previous customer service experience or lumber experience would be an asset
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
* Able to handle our Manitoba weather to help customers outside
