Previous experience in a shipping or logistics role will be considered an asset.

THE ROLE -

E-Commerce is an important driving factor to our business and our shipping/logistics team is instrumental in making sure operations here flow smoothly. The HockeyStickMan Belleville "Warehouse" as we affectionately call it, is the primary location for online order fulfillment. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring online orders are filled in an accurate and timely manner. This will consist of reviewing online orders, picking products, packing products, and shipping it out the door. Handling customer inquiries regarding orders and supporting other fulfillment duties will also be expected. As a small family run business we rely on everyone stepping up in different areas, and additional support in other areas of the business will be required of all staff on occasion.

As a part time associate you will help support our busiest store hours, traditionally closing shifts and weekends with potential for the day shifts mixed in as well. Shift will be scheduled between 7 am and 10 pm. Our hiring process includes a 3-month probationary contract, after which we will review the fit for both parties and ideally move forward with a long term commitment.

WHAT YOU BRING

Passion for the game of hockey and interest in hockey products and sticks Experience in a sporting goods retail or shipping environment Familiar Shopify or shipping softwares is a plus An open mind and a positive attitude; a willingness to take on a wide variety of tasks (including hands on work) A valid driver's license. A valid passport and the ability to drive a rental truck (ie age 25+) is an asset as well. Ability to work during our busiest hours (weekday evenings, weekends, especially during hockey season)

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
