Job Summary

UPS is currently looking for Afternoon Part Time Local Sorters for our Kamloops Package Centre Operations.

Local Sorters responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, stocking packages and washing vehicles. Local Sorters may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks. This position performs other tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment.

Monday to Friday, 5:30 PM Start

(start time will vary according to operational requirements) UPS is a Federally Regulated Workplace

Responsibilities:

Learns and properly executes UPS package handling methods. Loads and unloads UPS packages into trailers or package cars.

Qualifications:

Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs. Ability to read and memorize postal codes Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week

: Employees are to receive guaranteed wage progression with a guaranteed top rate. On completing progression, all UPS Local Sorters receive a top rate of above $28.00 per hour;
